Children’s Obesity Fund was proud to cosponsor the Community Day event at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital on November 14, 2013
Every quarter, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital provides a special Community Day for both patients and their families to celebrate the season. In the Fall of 2013 our founders Julian Omidi and Dr. Michael Omidi proudly cosponsored the Community Day. The purpose of the event was to put smiles on the faces of the child patients at the facility.
The staff at the hospital brought roughly two dozen children and their families to the parking lot where they were able to enjoy inflatable carnival games provided by Party Pals, nutritional education games provided by Trader Joe’s in Redlands, costumed face painters from Party Princess Productions, and many other fun activities.
The quarterly Community Day Program is coordinated by supporters of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, known as Luke’s Pride members. These valued professionals, community partners and friends are the hospital’s partners in transforming the lives of children and delivering on the promise of a healthier future.
We are pleased to announce that Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital has asked us back to cosponsor the Spring 2014 Community Day. Check back here to learn more about the Spring Community Day.
